Claus Peter Schmitt is member of international dialysis and CKD MBD working groups, the German collaborative research group on reactive metabolites, co-chair of the European PD Research Consortium Improve PD, co-lead of the International Pediatric Dialysis Network and heads the International Pediatric Peritoneal Biobank. He has published 180 scientific articles and his research group received 29 scientific awards.
